When I got my first coins, it was all well and easy.
But after a few I realised, that the icons did not appear in the order I activated my coins.

For a while I thought it must have something to do with the age of the coin, oldest are first on the list.
But now I got an 2008 coin which shows up faily high on the icon list in between much older coins?

So what system is used for the icon list in my GCaccount?

Regards, ElliPirelli

I'm pretty sure it has to do with the order of when the icons are submitted to gc.com and approved. Some coins get delayed so when you activate them you'll see their icons above coins that came out before them.

Icons simply appear in the order of when they were purchased from Groundspeak.

Thanks for your fast answers.

Strange still, that the Danish Geocoin 2008 is in between the June 2006 Geocoinclub and the Signal Nov.06...

Is it possible the Danish Geocoin had a 2006 and 2007 edition and is just using the same icon for all of them?

This may be because the numbers were purchased in a large bulk order and icons were not assigned to them until they 2008 was ready. i have purchased large blocks of numbers before and only used a piece of them so it is a common thing to do for larger coin producers.
