Ok, now make the ring with the dots the same size and position as it is on the front & the dots the same as on the front too. LOL Laughing

Brushed silver would look awesome with this design! Not sure about brushed gold or any other finish tho. I think silver, & not shiny is the way to go. IMHO. Razz

The inverse D in the O shape is universal for Over-Drive or a high speed gear for long distance traveling. If you look in your car (if you drive an automatic) you should see it. It's not always on stick because in some models it's marked as 5th or 6th gear instead. I'm trying to make it as universal as possible though Smile Most large cars have both a "D" gear and an "O-D" gear. "D" for around town driving or heavy loads and "OD" for highway travel.

Not to be picky here, but shouldn't it be R, and then 1,2,3,4 and the D or 5?

Or are 6 speed cars becoming more popular there in the US?

They are actually. I've always driven stick and I've had Reverse labeled left, labeled right and in my VW it's not labeled at all. You just had to push the stick down into the floor and pull left/down. I'm trying to design something that will work for everyone though Wink I actually left Reverse off intentionally since it's connotation is that you're backing up instead of moving forward and adding on the miles!

I got my first Sherpa today and I love it!! My trolley tag looks awesome in it (I'll try to post a picture later). I just might have to release it this weekend. Cool

Question though - the pathtag that comes with the Sherpa, do I log that as my own tag at Pathtags.com? I wasn't sure how that part worked.

Yes you can log the pathtag as your own. You just can't do a 'discovery' on pathtags. If you log one it adds it into your collection.

I also find this a bit confusing - you are mixing the D from automatic in with the symbols on a stick shift (if that made any sence...)

I think that you either should use the R or leave it with 1-5

Actually there are many, many manual transmission vehicles with overdrive. My old 5 speed truck ('89) nob looked exactly like this except having 1-4 and the O/D symbol. It used to fashionable to advertise an overdrive gear and now it's fashionable to advertise the top number of the gear. This is really just taking a little creative freedom though to express an idea. The tag line now reads "Shift Your Tag Into Overdrive".
I'm playing with the swooshes a bit, too, so they play with the overall composition a bit better. I'll keep at it though. Thanks for all the feedback, too. I'm trying to think of new ideas for other Tag holder designs as well so pipe up if something strikes your fancy Very Happy

The Transporter is in production now and the second design is on my drawing board presently. I have about a half dozen designs in production as we speak actually. I have to finish a 3 part series before I finish the second Tag carrier, but I might squeak it through during breaks at work Wink
