That's weird! Jamie has always gotten back to me even if it is to tell me that he cannot get to my project for a week or so. With Coinfest & the holidays coming up he has been really, really busy.
I should have the tag in hand by mid October. What do y'all think of a silver version with a white raven that glows blue? I'm thinking of doing that while glow is available.

@Crowesfeat30: The raven is certainly stunning!
But I'm not sure how it would look all light, maybee change the colours manually and see, if it still looks so bold as in black.
I have a Halloween tag waiting for blueprinting, I just hope everything goes without any problems....
This one will look whiteish in daylight and glow blue at night.

i think the overall design is gorgeous, but a tad dark. i hope the blue is distinct enough from the black nickel as the contrast level is very low.
i am not a fan of glow. we don't look at the coins in the dark and the glow colours look a little funky in the light. i think i am alone on that thought, but i really haven't seen a glow coin i truly like.
my thoughts, and mine alone!

you and me both! we just need to give up coins for, oh, say a week or so, and then there would be enough money for a pathtag!
lara going to do that next week, for sure. _________________ dance like no one is watching |

Two very good points, Lara. I agree, my tag will probably be a tad dark. But going by how some other BN coins that used blue translucent - notably the Boomerang coin & I Love Geocoins 2008 BN - I'm hoping it will turn out ok. Perhaps instead of a glow tag I'll go with copper with red translucent. I'd love to do both versions with glitters but that option will be very rare from what I've heard.
That's why we toss ideas out here - for critique.

You're right, most of the time I don't look at them glowing.
But boy, did I get a fright, as I had a pin with glow on my jumper.
I didn't know last years October pin of GC&PClub had a glowing moon.
As I came out of the cellar, switched off the light in the hallway and had a look in the mirrow opposite. Scary, when you're not expecting it!!!
So pins definitely are nice with glow. And a Halloween tag/coin can do with some glow as well.
At the moment I keep them on my fridge, so I would see the glowing!
But most coins are unessesary glowing, I agree with you there!

Oh, come on now, don't tell me I'm the only one here who loads up their glow coins and then takes them in to the closet to look at
I love the triskele pathtag that glows that I have, Brae's moon pathtag that glows, my Creepy Crawly Cachers coin with glow, my Night Caching Blues Geoguitar and my Dala Horse coin that glows.
I think it's just danged cool to load them up and see them glow, and they glow for so long!!
I LOVE glow coins!! |

I have two boys you put glow on a rock and they will keep it forever. On a coin is just two cool. That was why i tryed to get it on my tag. Maybe get rid of some of those glowing rocks.
