Well I haven't bothered listing any coins for a long time because with ebay and paypal fees, a very poor exchange rate, plus postage I would be lucky to break even, but since it isn't going to cost me anything to list, I decided to try it out and I've listed one coin. Hogswild also do an auction type thing but I don't think very many coins get listed there - not sure - I haven't been to check it out in ages.
Anyway, thanks for the link, interesting to see - I hope it grows in popularity, would be nice to be able to go somewhere other than ebay. |

we need our engine rebuilt. $3000.
i think i am going to be sick to my stomach.
or do i buy another used up car for $1000 to get from work and back and forget anything else. then i figure i am buying someone else's car that will need fixing.
i am definitely sick to my stomach. _________________ dance like no one is watching |

How come a four year old needs an engine rebuilt?
That walter of yours sounds way to young to be so critically ill!
Did you get a different opion from a different mechanic?
I just can't imagine a car that age to have such extensive trouble... Now if you said, she is a 1974' classic, I'd believe the trouble, but 2004? No way! _________________ Be yourself so others may recognize you

she is 6 years old with almost 140,000 miles on her. hard miles some of them. AND i have to admit, i may not have taken care of her as well as i should have. bad lara. but she is family so she must have the surgery. i trust this mechanic! and those are few and far between. he is one of the good guys.
you should have heard the noise when i tried to start her again. sounded as if someone had thrown a hammer into a whirring screaming engine. it was not pretty.

Ups, my math is not that good early in the morning....
Well, I hope, you treat her better in future....
My Dolly is now 3 years old, but I can't say, she's in any way in a bad shape. I used to drive old Land Rovers, SeriesII and III ('59 and '71) and even with those I had only little trouble. But don't ask me about this stupid Citroen BX, ('92) I hated that one, and the father of my kids thought it the very greatest of technology...
I wish you all the best and hopefully you'll raise enough money to fix her... _________________ Be yourself so others may recognize you

Lara - I understand. My Little Pony is a 2004 Mustang. I would spend anything to keep her! She was my 40th Birthday present to myself and the only new car I've ever owned. She has the 40th anniversary tagging. So the Mustang and I were born in the same year. But she does get babied. She only has 35,000 miles on her! LOL - Oil changed every 3,000 miles and everything she needs! I really want to keep her forever! |
