Well it is time to share a little here , I have been working on this project for a long time . this is version 4 of the dragon side

[/img]

This is probably my most personal personal coin .I grew up on the west coast of Canada and always loved and admired Haida Art . I designed the dragon in this style . Now , there is no Dragon in Haida Mythology So i tried to remain true to the style and still produce something new . I am also not using this coloring on the dragon i felt it was too light . So have some new samples being made. I also don't know what finishes we will Produce yet Want to wait for the samples. But it will be a 2inch coin 3D on the back side and will be trackable on the edge of the coin .

Wow!!! I grew up on both ends of BC (Alaska and Washington) so I have a deep love for native artwork myself. I've found myself homesick for a lack of seeing Inuit and northern Pacific native art Sad I love seeing this pictographic style though and love this coin! Keep us updated on colors, too!

Definitely like the one on the left much more. It seems to match traditional color choicing better, too. Smile

I'm not at all familiar with Haida art, I'm presuming it is native art associated with the area in which you live, so I'm not able to give an opinion on your colours choices but I think it's really nice that you have incorporated this style into a personal coin.

I concur that the colour scheme on the left is better.

Will definitely add this geocoin to my collection when it emerges.

This design is stunning! Congratulations!

In the blueprint I liked the red dragon better, but with the samples, I tend to the black one. He looks bolder and more fitting with the bold lines of the native art.

Being more familiar with the Norseman boats and Wikings, I find it funny, that the dragon should ride the boat. For me, he belongs at the bow... Very Happy

I like the thoughts, which obviously went into the design, the sun and dragon in the native stile.

A true gem of a personal coin!

Sorry to buck the trend here, but I really like the Red one. Whatever finishes you decide upon I am positive these are going to be much sought after.

Well the date for release is coming . It will be the July Presale at Coinsandpins. the Special glass compass rose this month design involves a 8 to 9 week delivery So they did not want to make people wait for that is they ordered this Or have to pay two shipping charges . So it will be in the next sale .Should be the weekend of July 10 as a start date . Around 10$ Price But this is a 2 inch Square Coin, lots of metal .

I think i will be going back to a round coin for my next one just for the uniqueness of that.
