I think the coin is hilarious. I would never even think of buying it before this thread, but since the thread, I admit, I've considered it. If it wasn't just plain ugly, I might have. I just can't get past the ugly.

I might consider buying it to see what it actually ends up looking like in metal, and for the humor factor, but I didn't realize you can only order sets?! haha and I'm guessing most of you won't wanna trade for the other two Wink
...also didn't coinswag vow to never do a presale again?

I got the email and gave it a glance. I guess didn't read the description well b/c I thought to myself that it looked like somone trying to rip off one of paula's designs (which, i really do like the thanksgiving coin!) but it didn't occur to me that she had designed it, b/c it really wasn't up to par.. I didn't get the theme at all until seeing this thread though.

Actually, not getting the theme, I thought about my first hide and find, and they weren't all that memorable, so I was kinda wondering why they'd make a coin about it. I'm kinda embarassed about my first hide now... it was archived when I realized my tastes were changing and it was in fact a "lame" hide. and if I based my caching future on my first find, I probably would have stopped right there. ...alright getting the theme I see parallels could be drawn there Embarassed and on that note I'm going to try and stop giggling and get back to work Wink

OMG that thing is the biggest, most obvious phallic symbol ever! Whenever we drive by it, we're like "look, a big penis!"

It's also freaky to go inside and climb the spiral staircase to the top.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled thread.

Just showed the wife this coin. She's in the medical field. Her first words were, "Ohhh my God!" and it wasn't because it was a well designed coin. Sometimes I wonder how things get passed myself.
